Overview: Whitening involves not only bleaching, but also restorative treatment. In this presentation, participants will learn about bleaching procedures and restorative procedures to help patients to achieve their desired smile. Participants will learn about techniques for external and internal bleaching. They will learn about the foundational science behind bleaching – both in-office and at-home. Finally, participants will learn about restorative techniques, such as using opaquer, to help mask a discolored tooth
Objectives:
1. Learn about the different types of bleaching treatment
2. Become aware of the foundational science of bleaching
3. Learn about how whitening differs from bleaching
4. Learn about the intricacies of internal bleaching
5. Discover restorative treatment options to manage discolor
