Techniques to Improve hard and Soft Tissue Contours, Blueprints for Success

In this session, Dr Fien and Dr Kim we will review the principles of hard and soft tissue management for dental implants to achieve long lasting esthetic and functional success.  Specific techniques to maintain anatomic soft tissue contours around dental implants will be reviewed in detail as well as techniques that can be used to predictably regenerate deficient hard and soft tissue contours to simplify treatment and improve long term treatment outcomes.

Learning objectives

– To understand the etiology and consequences of a deficiency in soft tissue quality and quantity  around dental implants

– To learn basic principles to maintain soft tissue quality and quantity around dental implants

– To learn techniques to regenerate deficient soft tissues around dental implants 

– To learn techniques and material options to improve the predictability of soft tissue augmentation around dental implants

This course is intended for dental professionals or students with a basic understanding of dental terminology, practice, and proficiency.
