ORAL RINSES: What’s Safe? What’s Effective?

COURSE SUMMARY: This course will analyze the efficacy and safety of current oral rinses and introduce the latest generation of rinses under development. Upon the completion of this webinar, you will be provided with evidence-based studies showing the most effective rinses for both patients and staff.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Review the evolution of iodine in becoming a standard of care.
- Learn about a technological breakthrough leading to a new class of “super” iodines.
- Understand how the implementation of the new “super” iodines in your practice will benefit your patients.
- Compare the advantages and disadvantages of commonly used oral rinses.
- Describe the misconceptions related to iodine sensitivity.
- Learn why periodontal bacteremias are now considered a cause of cardiovascular disease.
INSTRUCTIONS: Following the Continuing Education webinar of 90 minutes duration, a brief promotional webinar concerning molecular iodine will be provided by the sponsor. You will be given the option to log off and be redirected to complete a quiz for CE Credit. In accordance with AGD PACE standards, you are not required to watch the optional promotional webinar to complete the course quiz/evaluation and obtain CE Credits.

QUIZ FOR CE CREDIT VERIFICATION: At the conclusion of the webinar, attendees will be redirected to complete a quiz for CE credit. An 80% minimum passing score is required, multiple attempts are permitted, and attendees have 7 days to successfully complete the quiz for CE credit.

About the Speaker
Dr. Herb Moskowitz, DDS
Dr. Herb Moskowitz is the Chairman and Co-Founder of ioTech International. He is the co-author of ioTech’s U.S. patent and global patent applications. He previously founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Advanced Tissue Sciences and Life Medical Sciences, two publicly traded medical technology companies. He has also practiced clinical dentistry for more than 25 years and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Dental School.
