Course Description:

Dental lasers are now well established in the dental office, and differing wavelengths are creating a host of innovative treatments using various dental lasers. All types of practitioners – including periodontists, pediatric dentists, endodontists, and orthodontists – should familiarize themselves with these devices and understand the possibilities and limitations of each device. Practitioners who want to integrate laser technology into their patient care face the daunting task of trying to sort through all the information available to make the right decision.  This course is designed to educate all clinicians on the various wavelengths available and how to choose the best type of laser based on the patient, the procedure, and other factors.  Every discipline of dentistry can benefit from the use of these devices.

In this course, you will learn:

  2.  The biological effects of different lasers

  3.  Updates on the newest laser technologies available

  4.  Comparisons of different types of lasers and their various applications

  5.  Which lasers work best for different dental procedures

About Live, Interactive Webcast Continuing Education Seminars:


A live, interactive webcast seminar is similar to attending a continuing education seminar in your community, except that you attend via your computer. Each course is done live in a format that allows your participation.

Anyone who has access to a computer that can play sound can participate in an ACES webcast seminar. No special computer knowledge or equipment is required to participate in our webcast seminars.
