COURSE OUTLINE…

*This lecture will review and discuss the different types of Nano-hybrid, Nano-ORMOCER®, ORMOCER® technologies used in some of today’s resin-based materials.

*Adhesives, Flowables, Preventives and Universal Composites will be explored along with the clinical benefits of Nano-inclusion and ORMOCER®s.

*A focus will be on understanding the chemical interaction and construction of the materials as those qualities relate to the clinical efficacy and success of the procedures involved.

GOALS

•   Educate participants briefly on the history of “Nano and ORMOCER® technologies” with an emphasis on their strengths and weakness.
•   Highlight the multiple variables that need to be considered during the process of restoring teeth and preventing caries with these advanced materials.
