Course Description
Breathing Disorders, Oral Medicine, Sleep Apnea, Sleep Disorders
An overview of sleep disordered breathing and what the dental team can do about it. We start with the basics: sleep, dental appliances, how to work with sleep physicians, medical insurance interaction AND the “ABC’s” of marketing. Then we go a bit beyond the basics: complications, titration and follow-up testing, team development, complex sleep disorders and advanced marketing.

Both the live webinar and the PowerPoint presentation incorporate a variety of audio and visual cues to enhance audience members’ understanding and retention of key concepts. In addition, question and answer periods are provided for at the conclusion of each section of the live webinar.”
Course Objectives
At the completion of this course the participants should be able to:
- How to collaborate with sleep physicians, create a treatment plan and submit medical billing for sleep therapy
- How to communicate the medical consequences of untreated SDB (Sleep Disordered Breathing) to patients
- How to apply basic appliance therapy to qualified patients
- How to improve health in many patients with an emphasis on nose breathing
